About Event

Walk Your Way: Animal Safari supported by Bupa invites participants to experience the hidden life of the forest at night. The guided walk will take you through hillside trails and introduce you to the remarkable world of nocturnal animals.

Highlights include learning about bats, one of the most successful groups of night-dwelling species, and visiting the habitats of rescued animals such as owls and leopard cats during their most active hours. The walk will also immerse you in the chorus of nocturnal wildlife calls, while fireflies, frogs, and snakes may be spotted along the way. With some luck, participants may even catch sight of wild porcupines or hear the distinctive call of the barking deer.

This walk is part of the Bupa Healthy Cities initiative – a global movement under Bupa’s commitment to creating a “Better World”. In Hong Kong, the initiative focuses on designing urban environments that prioritize health and well-being for all. By encouraging active movement, enhancing access to nature, and integrating healthcare services, Bupa Healthy Cities fosters healthier lifestyles. With strong community involvement and a focus on sustainability, it aims not only to improve individual health but also to contribute to a healthier planet.
