Whole Health: The Practice of Receiving
In this gathering, we're exploring something deceptively simple and profoundly uncomfortable: Receiving.
Receiving help.
Receiving attention.
Receiving money.
Receiving praise.
Receiving support.
Receiving what you’ve been asking for.
Receiving is one of the most intimate acts of self‑permission. It asks you to soften, to be seen, to be supported, to be held. But when that actually arrives, we often don't see it or we push it away - because receiving requires an identity shift, and identity shifts feel like existential threats to the nervous system.
This session is about rewiring, not performing.
About allowing, not forcing.
About becoming someone who can hold more.
Together, we'll explore:
- The identity shift required to receive; changing our relationship with our needs.
- Practice receiving attention, help, praise, money, support.
- Building the neural pathways that make receiving feel safe instead of dangerous.
We'll bring together five experts across finance, nutrition, fitness, relationships, and community to facilitate a discussion about what actually gets in the way of receiving, and what it takes to change that.
