The First Agents Hackathon In Brazil

Saturday, Jan. 24th | Cubo Itaú | Application Required

Join us in São Paulo for a focused, in-person hackathon to build AI agents.

We're bringing together ambitious engineers from across Brazil to spend a day hacking on consumer agents — tools that act on your behalf in everyday life — with live demos, prizes, and a direct bridge into the San Francisco AI ecosystem via Puentes by Antigravity.

Capacity is limited; applications are required.

Who Should Apply

This is for you if you’ve shipped agents, tools, or you can show relevant repos and side projects. This hackathon is a way for you to connect with the scene in San Francisco and other ambitious engineers in Brazil.

What to Expect

  • Doors open at 9 am Saturday.

  • Kickoff talks start at 9:30 with team formation taking place immediately after.

  • We will have a focused 10-hour build sprint fueled by food and coffee.

  • Building ends at 8pm, followed immediately by demos.

Theme: Personal Agents

It's 2026. Models are finally good enough to change how we live day-to-day. Very soon every person will have tens to hundreds of agents doing work on their behalf. Agents will become our attention managers.

This introduces a slew of questions that are deeply exciting to figure out:

  1. If the agent is acting on behalf of a person, how does the person consent to operations?

  2. How do we ensure AI agents only have the permissions they need to perform their task, and not more?

  3. How can an agent triage calls/texts but detect when it’s out of depth and hand session over to you?

  4. Having agents in public can be costly. How do you ensure people with public agents don't get overwhelmed with traffic and cost?

  5. How does an agent access our personal context? How should consumers manage that?

Some ideas:

  1. Think of something you have to do often over the phone/website but you hate doing it.

  2. The elderly are not great with technology. Can you build an agent to help their lives?

  3. No one likes to stay on the phone waiting for customer service. Can you automate that?

  4. If you had a personal assistant handling your day-to-day tasks, what would you ask them to do?

Agents will change how we interact with the world. We're biased toward projects that are useful, in production, and that we can demo.

Why This Weekend Exists

Brazil has serious talent, but most of the action still feels “somewhere else.” This weekend is a small step toward fixing that:

  • A room of the best engineers

  • Real products shipped in 24 hours

  • A direct bridge into an ecosystem that usually lives in San Francisco
