Reece Tomlinson is the Founder and CEO of RWT Capital Corporation, a leading Canadian-based mid-market M&A advisory firm she founded in 2017. She brings deep experience across M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, and strategic planning…where she has advised on several billion dollars worth of transactions across 12 countries and a wide range of industries. Her transaction experience stems across buy-side, sell-side, distressed assets and carve-outs. Her work and perspective have been recognised internationally. She is a recipient of the WXN Top 100 Women in Canada award, has been featured in publications including Forbes, Canadian Business, BC Business, The Times, The Daily Mail, Cosmopolitan, and various business outlets, and serves on multiple boards.
Leah Nguyen is a seasoned tech executive and investor who helps purpose-driven organizations scale with clarity and impact. She was the inaugural Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of InBC Investment Corp., a $500 million strategic investment fund investing in a more sustainable, inclusive and prosperous future in British Columbia. As the CIO, Leah was responsible for defining and executing the investment strategy for a $500M strategic investment fund to deliver on InBC’s triple bottom line approach of investing for people, planet, and profit. Leah is active in the start-up and investor ecosystem and has participated on numerous private sector and community boards. She currently serves on the board of Venture for Canada and the investment committees for Realize Capital Partners and BOF Capital.
Cordell Jacks co-founded Regenerative Capital Group (RCG) in 2022 as an opportunity to evolve Canada’s economy through the ‘Silver Tsunami’ of SME business successions. RCG applies regenerative investing principles to Canada’s SME market, aligning capital with life by acquiring succession-stage businesses and evolving them into enterprises that serve people, place, and planet. The fund is uniquely positioned at the convergence of three trends: the $2 trillion “Silver Tsunami” of retiring baby-boomer owners, the rise of Search Fund investing, and the emergence of regenerative investing. Cordell’s career spans impact investing, cleantech, circular economy ventures, and international development. He previously led a Canadian impact fund, helmed climate-focused businesses, and co-founded a global water and sanitation initiative supported by the World Bank and Gates Foundation. A regenerative practitioner in life as well as work, Cordell embodies the shift from extraction to reciprocity, weaving purpose into capital, enterprises, and community.
Spencer Tasker is the founder and CEO of Tasker Global, a technology merchant bank based in Vancouver. The firm acquires and operates vertical market software and other tech-enabled businesses while advising growth-stage technology companies on IPOs and capital markets strategy. His current portfolio spans HR technology and compliance infrastructure platforms, with an active advisory practice serving high-growth VC-backed businesses and private market investors. Prior to Tasker Global, Spencer built and led a private equity firm with operations across the US and Canada. He brings a hands-on operator's perspective to every deal, bridging the gap between institutional capital markets expertise and the realities of building technology businesses from the ground up.
