A Baby Shower for Nara
Nara, a core Local Economy team member who many off you know, is having a baby.
Join us in celebrating Nara and her husband Pete’s new arrival with a Local Economy-style baby shower built around sharing, reuse, and community care.
Got baby gear your family has outgrown? Bring your gently used baby items to contribute to our community collection table. Nara & Pete are welcome to take anything useful for their growing family, and all remaining items will be donated to BANANAS to support local pregnant and postpartum families.
BANANAS is hosting its first-ever community baby shower on June 13th for more than 100 expectant parents from underserved and underrepresented communities, so we'll be able to contribute just in time.
Think:
- baby clothes
- toys & books
- parenting books
- carriers & accessories
- unopened essentials
- nursery basics
- that one thing you were SO glad someone gave you
Please skip:
- car seats
- breast pumps
- cribs
Stay for snacks, mocktails, and excellent humans.
