MENAGEN X DIRI Symposium: MENA Women’s Entrepreneurship: Bridging Economic and Social Opportunities
MENAGEN X DIRI symposium brings together the remarkable work and research advanced through MENAGEN, DIRI, GEM and BGCEL. By uniting academic insights with real-world expertise, this symposium seeks to foster meaningful collaboration, build bridges, and strengthen mutual understanding among key stakeholders.
Globally, women’s entrepreneurship has never been more relevant, especially in light of the significant increase in women’s startup activities in the Middle East and North Africa over the past two decades (GEM, 2024).
The Middle East and North Africa Gender and Entrepreneurship Network (MENAGEN) is at the forefront of advancing research on women’s entrepreneurship in the Arab world, supporting women entrepreneurs by creating valuable networking, mentorship, and research-driven opportunities. Similarly, Diana International Research Institute (DIRI) plays a pivotal role in advancing global research on women’s entrepreneurship, providing actionable insights and policy recommendations to practitioners, educators, and policymakers worldwide. Together these organizations shine a spotlight on the transformative role of women entrepreneurs in driving economic growth, social innovation, and regional competitiveness.
Through data-driven discussion and a curated panel of women entrepreneurs, we will share insights on the latest research and learn from women entrepreneurs.
Join us as we gather with MENA women entrepreneurs with roots in or business ties to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) while bringing together research and business insights.
