Questioning Guidance
Questioning Guidance — An Online Inquiry Circle
What happens in you when you are guided by someone else?
At times we welcome another person's direction, maybe we feel safe and comfortable. At other times, something in us resists—even when the advice is well meant.
What is this resistance about? Is resistance a familiar reaction, a useful signal about the situation, or something else? How do we sense what to trust? And how can we remain in contact with our own experience while listening to someone else?
In this live online Inquiry Circle, we will slow down and explore these questions together. Through guided reflection, moments of silence, embodied awareness and inquiry in pairs, we will notice the thoughts, feelings and bodily responses that arise around being guided.
There is no right way to respond to guidance and no conclusion you need to reach. This is a space to listen with curiosity, speak honestly and meet others beyond everyday small talk.

A note about the space
This is an experiential and educational space, not group therapy, psychotherapy or crisis support. Please join from a quiet, private place and bring something meaningful but manageable to explore. We ask everyone to respect the privacy of other participants. Listening in pairs means being present, without advice, interpretation or trying to fix one another.
