Annual HR Horror Stories | Seattle

HR Horror Stories is Back!
An Evening of Laughs, Lessons, and Leadership

Let’s be honest, if you’ve worked in HR long enough, you’ve got at least one story that makes your friends say, “Wait… that actually happened?!” Whether it’s the employee who wore their bikini to a job interview (yes that one was shared last year) or the awkward exit interview that took a very personal turn, we’ve all lived through our share of HR horror.

This October, we're back! Gathering CHROs and senior HR leaders for an evening where we finally say the quiet part out loud.

Over drinks and appetizers, we’ll share our funniest, strangest, and most jaw-dropping people stories in a safe, closed-door environment. You’ll leave with:

• A few new “you won’t believe this” stories of your own

• Lessons learned from peers who’ve been through it all

• A stronger network of HR leaders who get it

📌 When: October 21st, 2026
💬 Format: Business casual dinner + open mic storytelling (confidentiality guaranteed)
💼 Who’s Invited: CHROs, Heads of People, and senior HR executives

Because behind every HR leader’s professional smile… is at least one horror story worth telling.
