​Ready to break into the creative industries? Brought to you by Black at Sussex at the Black at Sussex Conference, join The Kusp for a day designed to support, celebrate, and elevate Black students, alumni, and prospective students building a future in advertising, marketing, and beyond.

​Delivered by The Kusp in partnership with Black-led studios, collectives, and creative leaders from across the industry, this event gives you real access to the people and skills shaping the sector - no matter where you are on your journey.

What's on:

​🎤 Industry Q&A Panel - Sit down with Black creative professionals for an honest, interactive conversation about navigating career pathways, building your personal brand, and spotting the transferable skills you already have.

​🌟 Workshop 1: Personal Branding - Discover how to define and present your unique professional identity - a skill that'll set you apart whether you're job-hunting, freelancing, or networking.

​✏️ Workshop 2: Creative Briefing - Learn how briefs come to life in the industry, and get hands-on practice developing your own creative ideas for media.

​Both 90-minute workshops run between 1pm–4pm, with the panel and networking rounding out the full-day experience.

​Spaces are limited to approximately 40 attendees; so don't miss your chance to connect, learn, and build the foundations for a creative career.
