Boulder Supper Club
DAY OF LOGISTICS:
Parking
There's street parking on 10th St and North St. Please don't park in the apartment building parking lot.
Getting Into the Building
Our building's front door is locked so please text me (Savannah) at 4697137040 and Jon or I will come down and let you in!
A Prompt for You
As we arrive at the dinner we'll have some name tags set out for you to write:
1) Your name (duh)
2) 3 things you care about. They could be hyper-specific or broad. Our hope is that this can help people start meaningful conversations with each other.
So consider what your 3 things are.
Welcome welcome!
Jon and I (Savannah) invite you into our home for an evening of delicious home-cooked food and connecting on topics that mean a lot to us: co-living with friends, network cities, walkable 15-min neighborhoods, solar punk futures, and building a greater sense of community between neighbors.
We want to bring together local cabin folks to explore what we could build here in Boulder to enable us to live close to people we admire.
What could we build if we decided to make where we live feel like an adult college campus – just dripping with spontaneous encounters with friends, co-working seshs in vibrant third spaces, nourishing events, and people building things together? What are the incremental steps we can take to start building the solar punk future our hearts know is possible? We want to explore what’s possible here in Boulder and the first step is to meet the people in our area that feel excited to try.
3 questions will guide our evening:
What is your ideal living situation? How do you feel? Who is with you? What are you doing throughout a wildly fulfilling and nourishing week-in-the-life?
What could we build here in Boulder to support that vision becoming a reality?
How could Cabin support that vision becoming a reality?
Please come on time and come hungry! I’ll be reaching out to everyone who has RSVP’d to understand your dietary restrictions and favorite foods.
We can’t wait to meet you and explore what living in community might look like.
