Futury Matching Day
Finding the right co-founder is one of the most critical steps in building a startup and one of the hardest. Our Futury Matching Day is a curated, in-person format designed to bring together founding teams actively looking for a co-founder with talented individuals ready to join a startup at the ground floor.
Every startup gets their own table for the evening — think speed dating, but for co-founders. No pitches, no stage. Ahead of the event, Futury puts together a personal shortlist for every startup and every talent, so you walk in already knowing who's worth sitting down with. Then it's simple: 5 rounds, 15 minutes each, talents move from table to table meeting the startups on their list and once the rounds are done, the floor opens up for anyone else you still want to catch.
How the evening works
1. Welcome & Success Story: a short welcome on stage, including a live example of what a match can look like
2. Seed-meeting rounds: we'll send talents from table to table, so every startup gets a steady stream of the right people
3. Open networking: Time to explore all the conversations you didn't get to yet
After the day — 6-week testing phase
If there's mutual interest, matched pairs start a structured validation phase at the Futury Startup Space:
Weeks 1-2 · Get aligned: Joint check-in with Futury, First Mind Test, vision alignment, and defining focus topics for the coming weeks
Weeks 3–5 · Work & test: Co-working in the Futury Startup Space, mid-point check-in, working on real startup challenges together
Week 6 · Decide: Final check-in, commit as an official team or close the chapter. Early exit always possible. Official "Matched via Futury" 🎉 if it's a go
Who can apply?
The Matching Day is free and open to all founding teams with an active co-founder search.
Startups taking part are reviewed and personally briefed by Futury in advance. Specific or highly niche searches can't always be accommodated in person and may be handled digitally instead.
One thing to note:
Talents are welcome either way, but only those who register via Typeform get a recommendation. If you show up without registering via Typeform, you're still welcome, we'll be there to help, you'll just be going in without a personal recommendation.
