Closing the Investment Gap in Women’s Health (Industrifonden x Unconventional Ventures x NORA )
NORA, Industrifonden and Unconventional Ventures invite a curated group of philantropists, angels and VC-funds, alongside key leaders from academia and the innovation ecosystem, to a closed-door discussion on how to unlock more risk capital into women’s health across the Nordics.
We know there are both upstream and downstream barriers preventing capital allocation from reflecting the true disease burden and market opportunity in women’s health.
At the same time, momentum is building across the Nordic region, with increasing public investment, a growing number of innovation hubs focused on the sector, and a unique foundation of Nordic health data that could enable major scientific breakthroughs if matched with the right resources and long-term commitment.
The challenge ahead is how to structure collaboration across public, private, and philanthropic capital to unlock greater innovation and scale in women’s health. As well as knowledge-sharing, peer learning, and collaboration across the investor community.
This conversation brings together key players from the ecosystem for an honest discussion about whether there is a case for deeper Nordic collaboration in this space.
