About Event

Fall weather seeming dreary? Join a Seattle Parks and Recreation Environmental Education Guide to learn about the water birds of Golden Gardens. Stroll through the wetland area to observe the waterfowl and identify and then check out the marine birds at the beach.

Bring binoculars if you have them--we'll have loaners if you don't. We will bring a spotting scope to help with identification and so you can see the true beauty of the birds on the water.

Dress warmly & for rainy weather. Trip is outside the whole 2 hours. Bring a folding stool for sitting if you would like.

All participants must be registered via the Seattle Parks and Recreation system. The event is not free.
