Full Moon Beach Gathering & Meditation - August
Join us for a peaceful evening of reflection, healing and renewal by the ocean as we gather beneath the beautiful Full Moon to slow down, breathe deeply, listen, share, and reconnect with ourselves, nature, and one another.

This Full Moon follows a powerful lunar eclipse the night before. In the Vedic tradition of Jyotish, eclipses are considered times of heightened inward reflection, when what has been hidden may come into awareness and we are invited to release old patterns and make space for greater clarity.
By Friday evening, the eclipse will be long over, and we'll gather beneath the bright Moon in the spirit of renewal. The Full Moon in Aquarius will be in a lunar constellation whose name is often translated as “the hundred healers.” Its symbolism invites us to look beneath the surface, recognize what may be asking for healing, release what we no longer need to carry, and listen more deeply to our own inner wisdom. Aquarius also brings our attention beyond ourselves to community and our connection with one another.
Our evening will include gentle meditation, reflection, open listening and moon gazing. No meditation experience is necessary.
This is an open circle for both women and men, with the same spirit of open-hearted listening and sharing we've been creating in our Women's Circles. This is a listening circle rather than an advice-giving circle — we'll give one another the gift of simply being heard, without trying to fix or solve what someone shares.
There is never any pressure to share. You are welcome to speak from your heart or simply listen.
And nature is giving us a beautiful ending to our evening: the Moon rises at approximately 7:49 PM, so we'll be together on the beach as it rises over the horizon.
Please bring:
• A beach chair or blanket
• A warm jacket or blanket—the wind can get cold
• Water
• An open heart
Parking:
Paid parking is available in the East Beach lot, and free parking is often available on nearby streets.
