Chicago Local Series: TPPG x Oyster Edition
We're taking over a speakeasy in the West Loop.
Low-lit, vinyl going in the background, a name that doesn't explain itself until you're standing in it.
Here's the night:
6:00 - Doors, drinks, and people. This is mostly a mixer. Come as you are, grab something cold, and meet some fellow Chicago People People, off the clock and close enough to actually hear each other.
6:45 - A quick hello from Oyster and TPPG. Five minutes, tops.
7:00 - Mixology demo. One of the bartenders walks us through a drink, you get your hands on it, and you leave knowing how to make at least one thing better than your usual.
7:20 - Back to the actual point of the night. More mingling until close, in a spot that has never once asked anyone what they do for a living.
Food shows up hot and gets eaten standing up. Cold beer for the people who want cold beer.
