Liberating Structures Lab Berlin #10.6
We are already putting something on the calendar for OCTOBER! I can't believe it!
This LSLab Berlin will be somewhere that has hosted us before and has been a highlight for people who attended, because, well, the space and people who welcomed us were amazing! We plan on doing it again. So, we're announcing it now to help you save the date! ;-)
This lab will fill up fast with returning people. So if you haven't been before and have been wondering what all the hype is about, now is your chance to join us. Trust me, you won't regret it.
This Lab
🗓 Theme: To Be Revealed in October
👥 Format: Small groups, structured interaction, real collaboration using our collective intelligence and playfulness
🚆 Host: Revealed when you register
The String (of structures) we will use:
- To come (once the Design Team meets!)
Each Lab includes:
✔️ Networking & connecting
✔️ Giving and Getting Help
✔️ A thoughtfully designed Liberating Structures session
✔️ Personal action planning (so you always have a takeaway and personal learning)
We don’t do long debriefs during the session — on purpose.
The experience mirrors real work: practical, fast-paced, and participatory. It's a time for the Designers (those who put the lab together) to try out their workshop design and see how LS really works. The participants get to come and experience it in action.
Practice + Play = Better Collaboration.
What is LS Lab Berlin?
If you’ve never heard of Liberating Structures before, that’s completely fine.
LSLab Berlin is a community practice space where we experiment with a set of 43 simple facilitation methods that help groups:
• Include more voices
• Think better together
• Solve real challenges
• Turn conversations into action
No lectures.
No slides.
No passive listening.
No deep dive debriefing and NO PANELS.
You learn by participating.
Who Is This For?
You might enjoy this if you are:
• A facilitator, coach, or trainer
• In Product, HR (OD, L&D, DEIB)
• Working in an Agile org or team (or want to)
• A team lead, manager, or community leader
• Working in change or transformation
• Or simply curious about better ways to collaborate, or host better meetings!
All experience levels welcome.
A Small Participation Fee
To keep LSLab Berlin sustainable and to respect our hosts’ planning needs, we now charge a small participation fee when you register.
This helps us:
• Cover admin and platform costs
• Support behind-the-scenes coordination
• Encourage attendance commitment
• Provide hosts with accurate guest numbers
If you’re facing financial hardship or have recently been laid off, reach out — we’ll waive the fee. We want you there.
Language
Intro and instructions are in English.
Small group work can happen in any language that works for you.
Come learn, and practice.
Meet thoughtful humans.
Experience what collective intelligence feels like.
See you there,
Sylvia
