Hosted by Kayla DiPilato & Sage Kampitsis
Registration
Welcome! To join the event, please register below.
About Event

Join us at Boda Borg Boston!

We will be at Boda Borg from 1:00pm to 3:15pm. Please plan to arrive earlier than the start time so everyone can pay and complete the waiver. We will be questing for two hours (which sounds like a long time, but it goes by really fast!)

IMPORTANT LOGISTICS
1. Boda Borg requires that all guests wear closed-toed shoes, and strongly recommends sneakers specifically. Anyone who arrives in open-toed shoes, heels, or other footwear not suitable for activity will be denied entrance into the questing space.

2. Once you have registered on Luma, please fill out the online waiver here: https://waiver.roller.app/BodaBorgBoston/home

Registration & Pricing
Pricing is $32 per person, and each attendee will pay on arrival at the venue. If cost is a barrier, we have a limited number of donated spots available. Please email Kayla at kadipilato@gmail.com if this would be helpful for you. If you register and later find you can’t make it, please cancel your registration so we can open the spot to someone else!

What is Boda Borg?
Boda Borg Boston is an indoor team adventure where groups take on immersive, theme-based Quests. Every Quest combines problem-solving and teamwork, and some include varying levels of physical challenge. There are around 24 Quests at Boda Borg, and teams can hop between Quests as much as they'd like, and try the same quest again as many times as they'd like. Groups must be between 3 and 6 people, and we will split up upon arrival, creating groups based on attendees' preferred Quest type. Anyone with additional questions is welcome to contact Sage at sage.kampitsis@proton.me. Sage has been to Boda Borg multiple times and is happy to help address any specific questions or concerns.

Accessibility:
Boda Borg rooms generally have one of three door colors: green, red, and black. All rooms with green doors are ADA accessible. Rooms with red doors require some light activity such as crouching or crawling. Rooms with black doors are physically demanding, and may require things like climbing, hanging, balancing, and running. Some rooms have decorated doors without a solid door color. Anyone with questions about those rooms can ask Sage or a staff member about the physical expectations of the room. Additionally, some rooms require squeezing into some small spaces, and may either be inaccessible or feel uncomfortable to folks in larger bodies. All green rooms, in addition to being ADA accessible, are also size accessible. Anyone with concerns about the size accessibility of rooms is welcome to contact Sage for more information.

Additional Accessibility (and Other) Info:
- There is an elevator in the building
- Gender neutral bathrooms are available
- Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the building and are well-maintained
- There are water fountains on each floor
- Bringing one's own food is (technically) not allowed, but food is available for purchase at Boda Borg
- Please contact Sage or Kayla if you have light sensitivities so we can figure out which quests are the right fit for you
- There are lockers to store your belongings, as well as a coat rack
- We recommend bringing a backup mask, as the physical rooms can cause sweatiness and you may want to change your mask
- Hallways can get a little noisy

COVID Safety:
KN95 or better masks are required for our group(s), and we will have a couple of extras available. There will be unmasked staff and other patrons in the hallways between rooms, and these hallways can get somewhat crowded, but the rooms themselves are private for each group. As always, do not come if you have symptoms outside your norm (i.e. not caused by chronic illness) or if you know you have been a close contact for communicable disease.

Getting There:
Boda Borg is located at 90 Pleasant St, Malden, MA 02148. It is about a 6-minute walk from the MBTA Malden Center Station on the Orange Line. If you’re driving, we recommend parking about a block away from Boda Borg at the SP+ parking garage located at 170 Centre St. in Malden. Parking in the garage (and on the street) is free on Sundays.
