​Amanda Widjaja @ Norwest Venture Partners

​Amanda Widjaja is the Head of Data at Norwest Venture Partners, a VC and Growth Equity fund in the Silicon Valley with $15.5 Billion under management and currently investing out of a $3 Billion fund. She oversees initiatives that augment the firm’s investment process using Data Science, AI, and Engineering, from identifying interesting companies all the way to portfolio tracking.

​She is also an advisor of Norwest’s portfolio companies in the areas of analytics and data engineering. Prior to that, she came from Facebook as the first data hire on the Social VR initiatives within their AR / VR and hardware org where they shipped nascent and experimental products.

​Earlier in her career, she went to pastry school and apprenticed for a chef in France, founded and sold a multi-unit F&B chain in Indonesia, and was a BI Engineer at PitchBook Data.

​Jason Miller @ Foresight

​Jason Miller is the Founder and CEO of Foresight. He is proud to lead such a talented team and with them to execute an ambitious vision for the future of private markets software. Jason has spent over 20 years helping decision-makers leverage data and technology to make the most critical decisions at some of the best investment organizations in the world.

​In his 9 years at BlackRock, he led new products to market for their Aladdin software platform and sat side by side with the firm’s most sophisticated investors to learn their needs and deliver the technology to meet them. During his 4 years with Point72, Jason helped to establish the firm’s private markets business and led the team that built their proprietary technology platform for venture investing.

​He brought his cumulative private markets technology experience and vision to Greycroft, where he assembled the top engineers from his previous roles to build the product that would launch Foresight as an independent company that provides the world’s best private market investors with an unparalleled data-driven software platform.

​Jason graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as an officer in the US Army where he was awarded the Bronze Star for his actions in the Battle of Fallujah. He remains involved in the veteran community through his volunteer work and mentorship.

​Ties Boukema @ Dawn Capital

​Ties leads Data & AI at Dawn Capital, an $2bn European early stage B2B software & FinTech investor. His main focus is Rolodex - a proprietary data & AI stack that seeks to augment human relationships and networks better. 

​Prior to Dawn, he worked at Google for over 5 years. During this period, he worked revenue analytics & infrastructure and actively contributed to work diagnosing diabetic retinopathy through AI and mapping air pollution in European cities.

​He also co-founded Cognitas.tech, a company that works with the London School of Economics (LSE) and other institutions to teach data science.

​Andre Retterath @ Earlybird Venture Capital

​Andre is the author of Data-Driven VC and a Partner at Earlybird VC where he focus on Enterprise Software with a particular interest in AI, infrastructure, data/developer/design tools, OSS, and robotics. Additionally, Andre leads Earlybird’s Engineering team and the development of their data platform EagleEye.
