About Your Facilitator MONIQUE CURRY-MIMS, MBA, MSEd, CAP® Founder and Principal | Civic Capital Consulting
Monique Curry-Mims has over 20 years of business and leadership experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. She is a consulting professional skilled in strategy, fundraising, research and analysis, and capacity building. She is currently a PhD student at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, and is a Penn State MBA graduate who holds a BS in Digital Design from Philadelphia University, and an MSEd from Walden University.
As Principal and Publisher at Civic Capital, an international social impact firm, Monique works with social impact leaders to identify the specific social issues they want to address and the strategies they can employ to create a lasting legacy for their organizations and families. As owner and Publisher of Generocity, the region's social impact media outlet, she oversees content that takes a critical look at the sector to strengthen its impact through advocacy, community voices, and building bridges between communities.
In addition to these ventures, in 2020 Monique founded tech company, Empact Data Solutions. Under her leadership, Empact Data Solutions provided extensive analysis and strategic insight to the philanthropic and social ecosystem through tools that enabled effective collaboration, tracking, and analysis of information to ensure all stakeholders work together for successful and sustainable societal impact.
