About Event

Topline
This year we are celebrating Diwali at Lungi, known for South Indian cuisine. The holiday is a time for people to be with friends and family, so we are scheduling this dinner a bit after the official holiday period.

A Bit of Culture
Diwali, also called Deepavali or Deepawali, is the Hindu festival of lights, with variations celebrated in other Indian religions such as Jainism and Sikhism. It symbolises the spiritual victory of Dharma over Adharma, light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

Important Info
The meal will be family style and the final bill split evenly among everyone who attends. So, please be ready to Venmo the person who handles the bill. Due to limited spots, we charge a registration fee to minimise cancellations and no-shows: all money goes to support Food Joy. You may request a refund within 24 hours of registration; however, after that the fee is non-refundable.
