About Event

Three Saturdays. Three sports. One group of women trying something new together.

Join The Fairway Social Club for a three-weekend series built around new hobbies, new friends, and exploring some of San Francisco’s best spots.

Over three Saturdays this October, we’re trying padel, golf, and tennis together. No experience needed. Just show up ready to learn something new and meet a group of women doing the same.

This isn’t a one-time meetup. The same group comes back each weekend, so by the end of the series you’ll have tried three sports, explored three iconic parts of the city, and hopefully met a few people you actually want to hang out with again.

The full 3-week series includes:

Saturday, October 10
🏓 Padel at Park Padel, Embarcadero Plaza
12:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Saturday, October 17
⛳️ Golf at Presidio Golf Course
11:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Saturday, October 24
🎾 Tennis at Goldman Tennis Center + Golden Gate Park picnic
12:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Weekend 1: Padel at the Embarcadero 🏓

12:00 PM: Arrival
12:00 to 2:00 PM: Padel coaching + play
2:00 to 3:00 PM: Ferry Building hang + snacks

We’re kicking things off with one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.

We’ll start with a beginner-friendly intro to the basics, then move into rallies, court rotations, and some friendly doubles play.

Afterward, we’ll head to the Ferry Building for snacks and time to hang out with the group.

Weekend 2: Golf at the Presidio ⛳️

11:30 AM: Arrival
12:00 to 1:00 PM: Golf instruction
1:00 to 2:00 PM: Post-game hang + snacks

Golf can feel intimidating when no one has ever shown you the basics.

This is your invitation in.

We’ll cover grip, stance, swing mechanics, and golf etiquette in a beginner-friendly lesson at Presidio Golf Course.

Afterward, we’ll head to Ironwoods Bar & Grill for coffee, bites, and time to hang out.

Weekend 3: Tennis + Picnic 🎾

12:00 to 2:00 PM: Tennis play + social
2:00 to 3:00 PM: Golden Gate Park picnic

We’re ending the series with a relaxed afternoon of tennis, friendly competition, and a picnic in the park.

We’ll warm up, rally, and finish with a fun Queen of the Court doubles competition before taking some Polaroids and heading into Golden Gate Park for a catered picnic.

No planning required. Just show up.

Who is this for?

This series is for the girls who want to try more things without having to figure it all out alone.

You don’t need experience in padel, golf, or tennis. You don’t need a sports group. And you definitely don’t need to be good at any of it.

Come solo, come with a friend, or come because you’ve been saying you want more hobbies in SF.

Is my ticket for all three weekends?
Yes. Your ticket includes October 10, October 17, and October 24.

Can I sign up for just one weekend?
No. This is designed as a full three-week series with the same group each Saturday.

We’ll send sport-specific equipment details before each weekend.

Will there be food?
Yes. Each weekend includes time to hang out after playing, with snacks or bites included. The final Saturday ends with a catered picnic.

What happens if I join the waitlist?
If you join the waitlist, you may see a temporary authorization hold on your card. You will not actually be charged unless a spot opens up and you are moved off the waitlist in the event.
