SatoShe Session – The Missing Half: The Psychology of Bitcoin's Adoption Gap @ Lugano Plan ₿ Forum (EN, Lugano)

Hi ladies,
Women are still the missing half of Bitcoin. They are in finance, in tech and in law, they make decisions about money every day, and yet they remain a minority among those who understand Bitcoin and hold it themselves. This session is about why that is, and what changes it.
On Saturday morning at the Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano, we come together in the Hal Finney Room for two hours, just us women. We look at the psychology behind the adoption gap, at the way we learned to think about money, risk and trust, and at what it takes to look at sound money with fresh eyes.
What to expect
◽ A talk by Lisa on the psychology of Bitcoin adoption: why the gap has little to do with ability and a lot to do with access, framing and trust
◽ A short break to meet the women around you, many of whom travel to Lugano for the forum from across Europe
◽ An open Q&A where every question has its place, wherever you stand with Bitcoin today
◽ A room curated for women, at a conference where women are still a minority on stage and in the audience
Who leads the session
Lisa Tscherry is the founder of SatoShe, Switzerland's leading Bitcoin education platform for women, and a Board Member of the Bitcoin Association Switzerland. She holds an M.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Zurich and an M.Sc. in Blockchain & Digital Currency from the University of Nicosia, where she graduated top of her cohort. Through SatoShe, more than 1,000 women have found their way into Bitcoin, from complete beginners to experienced finance professionals.
Why this session is special
Last year the SatoShe Session at Plan ₿ was one of the best-attended sessions for women at the forum. This year it returns as a two-hour masterclass with more time for depth and more time for conversation. Whoever joins on Saturday morning knows each other for the rest of the conference. That is a real advantage at an event of this size.
