Roundtable Discussion Series - Session III: Building Community Together
A facilitated dialogue series hosted by WildHeart & Regenera
What kind of community are you longing for, and what do you need to create it?
Join us for a series of intimate gatherings at WildHeart to explore what it takes to build a community on a practical and relational level. We’ll begin each evening with grounding practices to arrive and connect, and then move into wider discussions and harvest about our respective desires and experiences around community-building.
After each session, we will gather together for a potluck dinner; please bring a dish, as well as your own dishware and utensils, to contribute.
We will invite in discussion and inquiries ranging from big picture to specific, including the following:
What are the different forms of community that you are longing for?
What are you currently missing in community?
What is blocking you from creating the type of community experience you desire?
What are the practical structures needed around land acquisition, zoning, and community finance?
What governance and decision-making models can best support communities?
What emotional and interpersonal tools are useful for creating thriving communities?

WildHeart Center for Performance and Embodiment Practice is a land-based culture hub that incubates new performances, cultivates deep community and hosts transformational events. Located in the Hudson River Valley, WildHeart currently holds a small residential community of artists who live together, tend the land, support each other in embodiment practice, and continue to make art.
The Regenera team brings together decades of community innovation and experience with multi-modal transformational work in order to support the co-creation of regenerative inner and outer cultures. Through experimental community residencies, community architecture and systems consulting, and group offerings, the Regenera team empowers individuals and groups to serve whole-person and whole-planet interdependence and wellbeing.
