Build Your 2027 Marketing Plan
Your social media calendar is not your marketing plan.
Before you decide what to post, which emails to send, or whether you should finally start that podcast someone suggested three years ago, you need to know what your marketing is actually supposed to accomplish.
In this hands-on session of The Greenhouse, we’ll build your 2027 marketing plan from the business goals up.
Together, we’ll look at where your business is headed, who you need to reach, and which marketing priorities actually deserve your time and attention. Then we’ll map the campaigns, launches, events, promotions, and other key moments that will shape your marketing throughout the year.
And because The Greenhouse is a working session, not two hours of listening to me talk at you, we’ll actually start building your plan together.
You’ll use a simple 2027 Marketing Planner in Notion to work through:
Your biggest business goals for 2027 and what marketing needs to do to support them
The audiences you need to reach and what you need them to know, feel, or do
Your top marketing priorities, so you’re not trying to do everything everywhere all at once
The major campaigns, launches, events, and seasonal opportunities that should shape your year
A focused Q1 action plan so you know exactly what needs to happen first
By the end of the workshop, you won’t have a 47-page marketing strategy you’ll never open again. You’ll have a clear, practical roadmap for 2027 and a much better answer to “What should we be marketing right now?”
What You’ll Leave With
Your own copy of the 2027 Marketing Planner, a simple Notion workspace you can continue using throughout the year, plus:
A clearer connection between your business goals and your marketing.
Your top marketing priorities for 2027.
The beginnings of your annual campaign calendar.
A concrete Q1 action plan.
And, hopefully, considerably fewer random marketing ideas living exclusively in your brain. 🌱
Who This Workshop Is For
This session is designed for small business owners, founders, nonprofit leaders, and small marketing teams who are responsible for figuring out what to market and when.
It’s especially useful if you tend to plan marketing one month at a time, feel like you’re constantly reacting to what needs to be promoted next, or have approximately 900 marketing ideas and no real system for deciding which ones deserve to happen.
You do not need to have your 2027 business plan completely figured out before you arrive. We’ll give you the structure to start working through it.
What to Bring
Bring your laptop. This is a hands-on workshop, and we’ll be working directly inside the Notion planner during the session.
If you already have 2027 business goals, important dates, planned events, launches, promotions, or other initiatives in mind, bring those too. If you don't, that's okay. You can start with what you know.
What Is The Greenhouse?
The Greenhouse is a hands-on workshop series from Freed Creative designed to help small businesses actually get their marketing done.
Each session combines practical teaching with dedicated working time, so you don't just leave with another page of notes and a list of things you should probably do someday.
You'll learn the strategy, apply it to your own business, ask questions along the way, and leave with something useful already underway.
Less theory. More doing.
