Workshop - Start Here: Equitable Pathways (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) in Research

​After launching our Start Here Micro-Learning: Equitable Pathways — Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) in Research, we are pleased to offer its paired online workshop as a next opportunity to continue engaging with this work through dialogue, reflection, and peer support.

​Curated by the Equitable Pathways Accelerator at One Child Every Child, the Start Here Workshop offers an introductory starting point for engaging IDEA-informed research with greater clarity, intention, and care. As part of our Inclusive Research Excellence Learning Suite and and grounded in the feedback, questions, and learning needs shared by hundreds of researchers—as well as nearly half a decade of EDI in research advising—the workshop introduces key concepts, terms, and foundational principles that help build a shared language for understanding how IDEA shape research excellence across diverse research contexts, with particular attention to health research.

​Whether you are new to this work or already familiar with IDEA language and frameworks, the micro-learning and workshop together offer an opportunity to deepen understanding, expand on existing knowledge, and identify concrete pathways for integrating equitable practices into research in ways that strengthen relevance and impact.
