About Event

Insurance is in a strange spot with AI right now. The use cases are clearer than in most other industries, claims, underwriting, fraud, pricing, customer service, but the path from pilot to production is harder than anywhere else. Regulators are watching. Adverse action notices have to hold up. Bias testing is no longer optional. And the legacy systems sitting underneath most of this were not built for any of it.

Every insurance leader we talk to is dealing with some version of the same set of problems. Claims teams are piloting voice agents and document AI but cannot get clean attribution on what actually reduced cycle time. Underwriting copilots look great in demos and stall in production because the data is fragmented across systems that do not talk to each other. Fraud models are getting smarter but so are the fraudsters. And the question of how much human review you can actually pull out of any of this, without regulators or reinsurers pushing back, is still wide open.

This is a small, closed-door conversation among senior insurance leaders dealing with the same problems across different lines of business. What is breaking. What is working. What nobody is saying publicly but everyone is thinking privately.

What we will discuss:

The conversation will move across five areas:

  • Where AI is creating hard, measurable value in insurance right now, claims, underwriting, fraud or somewhere else, and what made those use cases actually work

  • The regulatory weight: bias testing, adverse action, explainability, and what is actually required versus what teams think is required

  • Voice and document AI in claims operations, what is shipping, what is stuck in pilot, and where the human still has to sit in the loop

  • The data foundation problem, fragmented policy systems, claims systems and third-party data, and what actually fixes it

  • Where the next 12 months take insurance AI, straight-through processing, customer experience, fraud, or something else entirely

Who should attend:

Senior leaders in insurance, VPs, Directors and Heads of claims, underwriting, fraud, customer experience, data, AI and innovation. Across P&C, life, health and specialty.

What you leave with:

A private, anonymised recap of the discussion themes.

Hosted by:

Bharat Lingam, CEO of [x]cube LABS, a product engineering firm that has spent the last three years building production AI systems for enterprises across insurance, banking, healthcare and retail, including claims automation, underwriting intelligence and voice agents for carrier customer service operations.
