About Our Speaker: Dr. Kibby McMahon
Dr. Kibby McMahon is a licensed clinical psychologist, researcher, and CEO and co-founder of KulaMind, a digital mental health company built specifically to support caregivers and loved ones of people facing mental health and addiction challenges and the host of the podcast “A Little Help For Our Friends” for loved ones of people struggling with mental health. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Columbia University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Duke University, where she specialized in evidence-based therapies including DBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based interventions. Her research spans institutions such as Columbia University, the Max Planck Institute, Weill Cornell Medical Center, and Duke University.
