Codex Community Build Meetup - Vienna
Join us at WU Vienna for Codex Community Build Meetup Vienna: a full-day, hands-on event for learning how to build with Codex, OpenAI’s coding agent, and AI agents in general.
This is not a lecture-only event. You’ll bring your laptop, choose the track that fits your experience level, and spend the day building with support from mentors and Codex experts. Beginners can follow a guided path from first setup to a small working project. Intermediate builders can learn practical Codex workflows for prototyping, editing, testing, and shipping faster. Advanced participants can bring their own project, explore deeper agentic workflows, or push a more ambitious build.
You can come with an idea, join a suggested track, or simply arrive ready to learn. The goal is to leave with something you made, a clearer understanding of how AI agents fit into modern software work, and new people in Vienna’s builder community.
Who Should Join
Students, developers, founders, designers, researchers, and curious builders are welcome. You do not need to be a Codex expert.
How to register
Final registration happens on the Codex Events platform.
Visit https://codex-events.com/events/codex-build-vienna-2026-06-20, click Register, and follow the instructions. During registration, choose the level that fits you best:

Why You Register on Codex Events
The platform is how we tailor the day to you. Registering there is required to participate, and it is what turns a shared room into a personalized, hands-on experience:
You get placed in the right track. Based on the level you select, the platform assigns you to the Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced track and you will receive tailored setup instructions and resources during the event.
You get matched with the right mentors. Each track has its own mentors. Your registration pairs you with the people who fit your level and goals, so the help you receive is relevant to what you are actually working on.
You get a participation certificate. At the end of the day, registered participants receive a certificate of participation. This is tied to your platform registration.
In short: the platform is how we know who is coming, what you want to build, and how to support you. Without registering there, we cannot place you in a track, pair you with a mentor, or issue your certificate.
What To Bring
Bring your laptop with Codex installed and a charger. That’s it. A project idea is helpful but optional.

At the end of the day, participants can share what they built, what they learned, or how they used Codex in their workflow. Demos can be small, rough, and practical. The point is to learn from each other, not to pitch a polished startup.
Come to learn. Bring your laptop. Leave having built something with Codex.
