Logos Circle Bauchi 2.0: Career Guidance Outreach
Every year, Nigerian students prepare for tertiary education without enough exposure to the courses, career paths, skills, and opportunities available to them. Too often, these choices are shaped by limited information, popular opinion, or simply what they are familiar with.
On 22nd September 2026, Logos Circle Bauchi will be hosting a Career Guidance Outreach at Government Day Secondary School, Sabon Kaura, Bauchi State, for students in SS1 to SS3.
We are bringing together professionals from fields including healthcare, technology, law, entrepreneurship, content creation, and more to give students a broader view of what they can pursue and what it takes to get there.
The goal is not to tell students what they should become, but to help them understand their interests, strengths and abilities, connect these with real career pathways, and appreciate the skills and qualifications needed to pursue them.
We will also introduce students to opportunities beyond the traditional career paths they may be familiar with, including remote work, digital careers, international scholarships, funded studies, and opportunities in the global economy.
This outreach is our first step towards addressing one of the winnable issues identified during our first Logos Circle meetup last month. We believe that better exposure at the right time can change the trajectory of a young person's life.
This is our next step as Logos Circle Bauchi: taking an idea from the Circle table into the community.
