Ho ho ho… Santa here. 🎅
I’ve heard whispers from the North Pole that the Break In crew is up to something delightfully unhinged at The Residency, and I simply had to get involved.
One night. Small teams. Chaotic ideas. You’ll ship an MCP-native project in just a few hours while I watch closely to decide who makes the naughty or nice builder list.
We’ll have a DJ, snacks, and a room full of very cool humans.
Here's Santa’s Rules:
You’ll draw a random Christmas-themed object from my sack. 🎁
Your project must use that object as the starting point to build something that helps me run Christmas operations. Think logistics, elves, reindeer ops, toy pipelines, you name it.
Every project must use at least one MCP server, either your own or one that's already hosted on the Dedalus Marketplace. No MCP, no presents.
Build something wild, stress-test an idea, meet other builders, and get on my radar for future Break In cohorts. Impress me, and you might just land on the nice list. Oh, and every hacker gets special edition Dedalus merch. The elves are jealous.
Application required. My sleigh only has so much room (and capacity at The Residency is tight), so spots are limited.
Schedule
3:00–4:00 PM: Check-in
4:00–4:30 PM: Team formation (max 3 per team)
4:30–4:45 PM: Kickoff and product demo
4:45 PM: Sack pulling 🎁 and hacking begin
9:00 PM: Submission deadline
9:00–9:30 PM: Demos (3 minutes per team)
9:45–10:00 PM: Prizes and close
Around 11:00 PM: Everyone OUT. Sleigh back to the North Pole
