Climate Action 9/11 Day of Service

​September 11th is a National Day of Service and Remembrance as we honor those who lost their lives in the attack against our country in 2001 and pay tribute to the thousands of heroes who rose in service. Join L.A. Works at this Day of Service event as we support our local firefighters at the Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center.

​As part of our climate initiative to increase urban greening throughout Los Angeles, volunteers will be beautifying the space of our city’s first responders with a native pollinator garden.

​Volunteers will be assembling planter boxes, weeding, planting, and more!
