Speaker Bio:
Kim G. C. Moody, FCPA, FCA, TEP, is a tax specialist, Chartered Accountant, Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner, and Founder of Moodys Private Client. With more than 30 years of experience, he has advised private business owners, executives, professional athletes, and high-net-worth individuals on complex tax and estate planning matters. Under his leadership, the firm expanded into a multidisciplinary organization with offices in Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto, as well as operations in the United States.
Now in his “Act 2,” Kim focuses on public speaking, coaching, leadership, tax policy, economics, and public policy. He has more than 26 years of peer-to-peer coaching experience and authored two books: the Amazon bestseller Making Life Less Taxing and Leadership Compounds: How Small Decisions Build Culture, Credibility and Legacy.
Kim has chaired STEP Canada and the Canadian Tax Foundation, co-chaired the CBA/CPA Canada Joint Committee on Taxation, and co-founded both the Tax Specialist Group and the Aristotle Foundation. His honours include the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, the STEP Founders Award, and the Fellow of the Chartered Accountants of Alberta designation.
