Draw the line(s).
A playful, creative gathering to draw lines together and reflect on the experience. After a successful first event, we (Logan Juliano and Hanna Keiner) are excited to host another draw the lines gathering.
Agenda:
Intro (5 mins)
Meditation (Logan - 10-15 mins)
Demonstration (Hanna - 10 mins)
3 rounds of drawing, reflecting, and (optional) sharing (45 mins)
Take action for Palestine (15 minutes)
You're invited to practice a formal meditation in any posture (seated, standing, lying down, walking), led by Logan Juliano, PhD Here’s a bit about the meditation Logan practices and teaches in their own words:
“I began practicing Buddhist meditation within the Thai Forest Tradition almost two decades ago, but am now fairly eclectic. I'm continually inspired by how creativity and mindfulness can illuminate each other, so I'm honored to offer a secular breath-based meditation to your community.”
What to bring: any kind of pen(s) and any kind of paper.
Who is this for? People of all ages are welcome! No drawing experience required.
This is a free event, but we want to encourage everyone to take action for Palestine. Sarah Shotts put together a helpful list of resources here: https://sarahshotts.com/2025/07/palestine/. You can take action on your own time and we'll also reserve 15 minutes at the end.
