9th Annual National Week of Conversation:
April 6-12, 2026

National Week of Conversation was created for those exhausted by the division and hatred in our country. For those seeking ways to turn down the heat of polarization. It is a week to become inspired, equipped and engaged in activities that build bridges across differences.

On behalf of the 500+ organizations dedicated to bringing Americans together across divides to build understanding, trust, relationships, and solutions — we invite you to join us in fostering unity over division. Bring your passions and differences to the table so we can find a way forward together.

This is not about changing our opinions on issues, but rather changing our perspective of those who hold opinions different than our own. Disagreement is healthy for our democracy, as differences can be catalysts for innovation, but we need to find ways to disagree better. We need to lead with curiosity and empathy so we can thrive together as a diverse nation that is made more resilient because of our differences, rather than be weakened by them.

Featured Event:
National Roundtable on Freedom and America

As the nation celebrates its 250th year, it’s a crucial time to reflect on the founding principles of the American project. America, once an ambitious idea, is now a reality, but as its citizens we all must fight to keep it. We must disagree courageously, but stay in the room, as the founding fathers once did.

National Roundtable on Freedom and America attendees will be matched into diverse conversation groups of 4-6 and guided through proven discussion prompts, ensuring that every voice is heard. By participating, Americans can take an active role in pushing back against toxic polarization because belonging doesn't end where we disagree. Join a community of problem solvers and be heard in a conversation that actually matters.
