NARC [Run or Walk] + Swim in Banyoles 🌳☕️💦

​Join us for an excursion to Banyoles for a 6km social run OR walk around the lake, followed by a coffee at Aquarium Cafe and swim in Banyoles lake.

​RSVP & Registration: This event is completely free, however we encourage you to register your attendance via this event page. A group of us will be travelling via the TEISA bus in the morning, so please select this option if you would like to join us and be added to the WhatsApp group.

​💪 What’s Happening?

• ​Date: Sunday, 21st June 2026

• ​Meet Time: Meet at Aquarium Cafe for 10:15am sharp (*there will be a group of us catching the TEISA bus from Girona to Banyoles, so if you would like to join please make sure you select this option to be added to the WhatsApp group.)

​👟 What to expect:

• ​6km social run or walk around Banyoles lake (7min/km pace with multiple stops along the way. This route is mostly flat and accessible for those with dogs or children in strollers).

• ​Social hangout with good chats after

​🎒What to Bring:

• ​Water & sun protection

• ​Please wear appropriate exercise/running/walking gear

• ​Bathers & towel if you wish to swim at the lake after the event

• ​A social vibe - no egos, just community

​⏰ Agenda Breakdown:

• ​09:00 — NARC bus group meets out the front of Correos at the bus stop to catch the TEISA bus.

• ​09:15 — NARC group catch TEISA from Girona to Banyoles. *Cost of bus ticket not included.

• ​09:55 — Group arrives at Banyoles TEISA bus station and walks to Aquarium Cafe.

• ​10:15 — All event attendees arrive at Aquarium Cafe for bag drop off.

• ​10:30 — Event briefing and NARC run begins.

• ​~11:30 — Run finishes at Aquarium Cafe where you can purchase a coffee, food or cold drink. The running group with Ellie will arrive first, and the walking group will arrive later with Jolene.

• ​~13:00 — Choose to head to the lake for a swim (additional fees may apply).

• ​~15:00 — Event finishes. Attendees can catch the TEISA bus back to Girona or coordinate their own way home (buses at 14:15, 16:15, 17:15 etc. Please check the TEISA website for the bus schedule.)

We're all about getting outdoors, doing the thing we love (and hate sometimes), being with like minded people and of course, rewarding ourselves with a coffee after.
