UC Berkeley Deep Tech Innovation Lab, in partnership with the California Innovation Fund and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, invites you to the Deep Tech Innovation Matchmaking Summit, an in-person gathering designed to create transformative connections across Berkeley’s deep tech ecosystem.
Meet the founders of seven deep tech startups who are hiring Berkeley students and recent graduates. Each startup has its own table. Come any time between 6:00 and 7:30 PM, and bring your resume.
Who is hiring
Eight Sleep: Senior or Staff Mechanical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, Thermal Engineer. Full time.
SemiValley: Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer. Full time or internship. Thermal background is a plus.
CPTI: Test engineering and electrical engineering interns, on site in Palo Alto. Part time during the semester is fine.
Herl Tech: Radiochemistry and materials science PhDs or grad students. Internships or part time for equity.
Baltic Jungle Lab: CTO or founding ML and computer vision engineer. Also hardware, optics and environmental engineering. Flexible, project-based or equity roles.
Solio Bio: Analytical chemist, strain engineer, downstream purification, marketing and community. Full time from early 2027, interns summer 2027.
Noah Labs: LLM Research Engineer and GovTech Business Development Associate. Part time or full time.
Open to students in engineering, materials science, chemistry, bioengineering, computer science and related fields. More startups may be added before the event.
