About Event

Part of Impact United Academy's ongoing webinar series on Systemic Investing hosted by Ilse Treurnicht and Tracey Robertson

Date: Thursday, October 8th from 10:00-11:30am PT / 1:00-2:30pm ET

Effective systemic investing requires engaging all the key actors and relies heavily on the strength of the social and relational capital in the system. This session will explore an approach to creating more coherence across the system to unlock capital.

Hear from Jane Wei-Skillern, Senior Fellow at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business Center for Social Sector Leadership, on a new Framework Approach on network leadership, as well as our Reflection Circle offering their thoughts, insights, and calls to action from a Canadian context.

About Jane

Jane Wei-Skillern, Ph.D., is an internationally recognized pioneer in network leadership and nonprofit collaboration, with over two decades of research, teaching, and fieldwork experience.

Her widely cited research explores how social impact leaders—funders, executives, staff, and board members—can achieve greater mission impact by fostering trust-based networks and building on existing community assets rather than focusing primarily on organizational growth.

Jane now works directly with nonprofits, boards, funders, and collaboratives to apply these principles and strengthen trust-based community partnerships.
