Forget About Your Life Plan is my memoir about my best friend and business partner, Pava LaPere — the EcoMap founder murdered in September 2023 — and what it takes to keep building after everything changes. I’ve been calling it “a story of friendship, entrepreneurship, and some real hard shit”, but it’s also an ode to the people and places that make Baltimore so special.
On November 11, we’re gathering at The Garage at R. House to officially launch the book into the world. It’ll be with a room full of the founders, funders, and builders who make Baltimore what it is, toasting a legacy that belongs to all of us. This is an opportunity to come celebrate Pava’s long-lasting impact on this city and those who call it home.
It's also 11/11, which makes it Pava's day, and I can't think of anyone I'd rather spend it with than the people who knew her.
