About Event

Everyone has an opinion about it.

Your family. Your friends. Your coworkers who somehow think it's their business.

And somewhere in the middle of everyone else's feelings about your life — you might have lost track of your own.

If that resonates, this conversation is for you.

Her Soul Supply is back with another invitation for women to slow down and connect through elevated, guided conversations about our relationship to power.

In this month's Slow Down, we're making room for the question that follows so many of us — the one that carries expectation, grief, judgment, and longing all at once.

Led by Her Soul Supply Founder Fanny Tristan, LCSW, alongside trauma therapist Pallavi Ankolekar, LCSW — whose clinical work centers shame, identity, and the pressure to conform to roles society assigns us — this guided salon will explore:

  • Why this decision feels so loaded — even when you already know what you want

  • How family, culture, and timing complicate what should be a deeply personal choice

  • The difference between child-free and childless — and why it matters

  • What it looks like to hold this question with honesty instead of pressure

Through reflection, conversation, and shared stories in community — over libations and light bites — we'll slow down long enough to have the conversation on our own terms.

Come curious. Leave clearer.

About the Hosts

Her Soul Supply: Her Soul Supply is a community space founded by licensed psychotherapist Fanny Tristan, LCSW, for women navigating the gap between the life they built and the one they actually want. Through salons, workshops, and curated gatherings, HSS creates space for the conversations modern life doesn't slow down enough to have.

Pallavi Ankolekar, LCSW is a trauma therapist and 1.5 generation South Asian immigrant whose passion comes from helping clients embrace their authentic lives away from conventional and traditional stereotypes. She also utilizes EMDR as a way to help clients address the relational wounds that may prevent them from cultivating the life they want. Her decision to be childfree allows her to nurture herself, her communities, and her two cats, Winston & Odessa.

Pallavi’s clinical work focuses on healing from trauma, negative self talk/beliefs, and mitigating shame that can pose as barriers in pursuing opportunities or embracing change.  She believes that shame can prevent people from looking at their shadows and doing the deep inner work that can liberate us from the rigid roles that society places upon us.

A Community for All, with BIPOC Women at the heart.
