Swapnil founded Zeni in 2019 to solve a critical bottleneck in startup operations: accounting and financial visibility. Today, Zeni serves founders across hundreds of companies with AI-powered bookkeeping that provides real-time control and automated insights. The platform has raised $47.5M and continues to expand globally with teams across the US, Canada, and India.
Before Zeni, Swapnil's track record speaks for itself. He co-founded Dhingana, a music streaming platform that was acquired by Rdio in 2014 after raising $8.5M from Lightspeed Ventures and Helion Ventures. He then founded Mezi, a human-assisted AI platform connecting shoppers with expert assistance, which was acquired by American Express in 2018.
Beyond his founder exits, Swapnil brings 21+ years of product and engineering leadership across Yahoo!, Symantec, and IBM Software Labs. He's also a General Partner at Twin Ventures, CEO Coach, and advisor/investor in 40+ startups—giving him a rare vantage point on what separates founders who scale from those who plateau.
