Building Northwest Arkansas, One Project at a Time
Join the Northwest Arkansas Council for a special Growing Home NWA event featuring Monte Anderson, president of Options Real Estate Investments Inc. and a founding partner of Neighborhood Evolution.
A nationally recognized developer, speaker and educator, Anderson has spent more than 30 years transforming downtowns, commercial corridors, historic buildings and aging shopping centers into thriving places that create local wealth and opportunity. His award-winning projects include the Belmont Hotel, Texas Theatre, Tyler Station and the ongoing redevelopment of Wheatland Plaza in Duncanville, Texas. He also has been involved with the incremental development and Strong Towns movement since its earliest years.
Anderson’s “Town Maker” philosophy focuses on empowering local entrepreneurs, small developers and community leaders to build stronger communities one project at a time.
The conversation builds on the Growing Home regional growth strategy released in April, which provides a shared vision for accommodating Northwest Arkansas’ continued growth while preserving quality of life. The strategy calls for stronger downtowns and neighborhood centers, more housing choices, infrastructure that keeps pace with growth and greater coordination across the region.
This special event is an opportunity to continue the important conversations about the region’s growth and explore how communities can turn a shared regional vision into action — one project at a time.
