Next Her + DC Day Trips hike

​Fay from DC Day Trips is co-hosting another amazing outdoor event for our Next Her community!

​Here's more details, please read carefully and plan your time in advance to avoid being late for the official start (9:30am):

• ​(optional early start) 9:00am - Meet for coffee at Dolan Coffee next to the Cleveland Park Metro entrance

• ​9:30 am - Official start - Meet at Cleveland Park Metro Station and walk to the trail head (introductions, overview of the hike, walk to trail is about 18 min)

• ​9:50 - Begin the hike at the trailhead (near Pierce Mill) - the hiking trail is considered easy which means mostly flat with some steps and brief inclines. Participants should wear comfortable shoes / sneakers.

• ​The hike will take ~1.5 hours and can be adjusted shorter or longer depending on weather, everyone's mood and fitness level. The group sets the pace!

• ​12:00/12:30 - Return to Cleveland Park metro station

​DC Day Trips is cultivating a community of Washingtonians who love the outdoors and want to spend less time planning and more time connecting in nature with friends.

We believe getting outdoors should be stress-free and accessible to DC residents (no car? no problem). That's why we help coordinate ALL the logistics for you like transportation, trip curation, and group facilitation.

This summer, we are hosting trips to hike, float, explore, and gather in the incredible outdoor spaces the DMV has to offer.
