Lotus of the Heart Yoga Flow
Take a moment to pause, breathe and move, in one of the most beautiful dojos in L.A., the Aikido Center of Los Angeles. Join our special pop-up yoga session with Maria Murakawa CYT 200, Aikido 5th Dan, Fukushidoin. Come to refresh your body, calm your mind, and uplift your spirit as we practice together in community.
The lotus flower in Eastern traditions symbolizes strength, resilience, and rebirth. Rooted in mud, it rises to the surface, unfolding its beautiful petals. Let's rise together in this yoga flow, just like the summer lotuses beginning to bloom.🪷
This 1 hour slow flow class is for those new to yoga and beginner friendly. To cool down from the summer heat and activity we will offer a long opening, some standing and balancing poses, and a long restorative ending (savasana). Stretch and rejuvenate, make space for yourself during this season of yang ☯️ energy. We will close with a meditation at the end to seal the practice with mindfulness and presence 🧘
Iced matcha lattes 🍵served at the end of class 💚and blooming tea balls to take home to continue the unfolding of your lotus heart 🪷
