Nature Connection Sunday
Breathe, Walk, Get Enchanted with Nature and Life
This is an intimate invitation-only walk that I am co-guiding with colleagues from KulturNest, Berlin.
Wonder is around us. All it takes is to shake off habitual ways of seeing, open the senses and child-like curiosity.
This Nature Connection Sunday invites you into a morning of slow wander, opening senses, and encountering the forest through breath, movement, observation, stories, and shared experience.
The walk will be facilitated by a few of us, each bringing our own way of seeing and being in communication with the more-than-human world.
We will spend time by Krumme Lanke and then wander in the forest. We will walk, pause, sense, move, breathe, observe plants, trees, water, and ways the forest might be talking to us.
You can expect a combination of:
breathing
sensory practices
light movement
plant and tree observation
storytelling
time for reflection
snacks and some time together without an agenda
The invitation is to spend time in a format no longer that familiar to us: not doing. To notice what is already there - the water, the birds, the trees, the stinging nettle with curiosity and openness to surprises and discoveries.
Practical information
We meet at Krumme Lanke U-Bahn at 7:00.
The walk takes place in Grunewald and lasts around 3 hours.
We will spend some time by the lake and then move slowly, with frequent pauses for practice and observation.
