Reading Rhythms: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Author J.D. Netto
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special edition of Reading Rhythms!
Reading Rhythms is a series of welcoming reading parties designed to make it easy for people to gather and read socially. We invite you to bring any book you want to our silent reading periods, as well as 1-on-1 breakouts, and group discussions to pull on the threads of the books that everyone is engaging with.
To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we will be joined by Brazilian-American author J.D. Netto, a multi-genre bestselling author whose debut fantasy series, The Whispers of the Fallen, became an underground sensation upon release. He is the founder of Saved by the Page, a movement that invited readers to share how books changed their lives, later compiled into a published anthology.
His latest YA romance, The Other Side of the Ocean, inspired by real events and focused on contemporary U.S. immigration, earned starred reviews from Kirkus Reviews and Booklist, both applauding its emotional resonance and timely relevance.
The first 50 attendees will get a free copy. Take a look and buy your own advance copy at https://bookshop.org/a/111427/9781625677204
