Available funding: $58,000,000
Award range: $2M to $20M per project
Match requirement: Minimum 20% of DOE funds (up to 50% for TA2)
Topic Areas
Bench ASPECT (TA1; $2M-10M awards, up to $28M total; 20% match): process development and optimization at bench scale, with the option to pre-pilot one or more unit operations after a successful initial phase
Pre-Pilot ASPECT (TA2; $10M-20M awards, up to $30M total; 20-50% match): design, construction, and operation of an integrated pre-pilot system that converts alternative feedstocks into chemicals
