First Bite Club @ Libertà - From 55€
What happens before a dish reaches the menu?
Before the perfect balance is found, before service begins, before guests take their first bite?
For the first edition of FoodiesLX's First Bite Club, we invite you inside the creative heartbeat of Libertà for an intimate chef’s table experience with chef Pedro Silva.
On Wednesday, May 27th at 7:30pm, a small group of guests will gather around a shared family table near Avenida da Liberdade for an exclusive first look into the development of Libertà’s new menu — a culinary lab where food lovers and culinary talent meet.
Through a tasting menu designed for sharing, guests will experience not only the dishes themselves, but the stories, techniques, ingredients, testing processes and creative decisions behind them. A rare glimpse into the seemingly chaotic precision of a professional kitchen and the commitment required to create thoughtful, honest and memorable food.
Inspired by Mediterranean cuisine with Italian roots, Libertà is a love letter to seasonal dishes meant to be enjoyed slowly — warm, generous and deeply connected to ingredient and craft.
Chef Pedro Silva brings with him a journey shaped by some of the most respected kitchens in Brazil and Portugal, including D.O.M., Maní, A Casa do Porco, 100 Maneiras, Eleven and Fortaleza do Guincho. His cooking reflects years of curiosity, technical mastery and a profound connection between gastronomy and nature.
But this evening is also about dialogue.
Guests will be invited to share constructive feedback on both the dishes and the service, becoming part of the creative process itself — helping shape an experience before it fully comes to life.

Meet the Hosts
Chef Pedro Silva discovered his passion for cooking in early childhood by watching his parents prepare meals at home. Surrounded by aromas, recipes, and emotional memories, he developed the desire to turn gastronomy into a profession at just 15 years old.
At 16, he began his culinary training in Italian cuisine and shortly afterwards also studied pastry arts. He graduated in Gastronomy from SENAC, one of the most prestigious culinary institutions in Brazil. During university, he began his career as an intern at D.O.M. under Chef Alex Atala, where he gained some of the most valuable experience of his career before moving on to Maní, where he deepened his knowledge of contemporary fine dining. He also joined the team at A Casa do Porco, led by Chef Jefferson Rueda, one of the leading names in Brazilian gastronomy.
He moved to Portugal in 2018, where he further strengthened his career by working in renowned restaurants such as Ofício and 100 Maneiras. He also worked at Eleven, Tágide, and Fogo by Chef Alexandre Silva, where he took part in LOCO events featuring some of the world’s leading chefs, as well as at the iconic Fortaleza do Guincho alongside Chef Gil Fernandes.
It was at Fortaleza do Guincho that he experienced one of the most defining moments of his career, developing a deeper understanding of the connection between gastronomy and nature. The daily search for ingredients directly from the natural environment—such as seaweed from Ericeira, sea fennel, wild plants from Sintra, and fresh seafood—transformed the way he cooks and understands ingredients.
With a career built on curiosity, technique, and continuous learning, Chef Pedro Silva has specialized in Brazilian, Portuguese, and Italian cuisine. He is currently part of Libertà Kitchen, where he develops Mediterranean cuisine with Italian roots, reflecting all the experience, knowledge, and sensitivity gained throughout his professional journey.
