Hidden Numbers: The Free Signals Behind More Sales and Better Partnerships
In this session you'll learn how to use the free numbers already around you — RSVPs, email replies, site searches, what's ending up in people's carts, and parking lots (yes, parking lots) to increase sales and shape stronger partnership and sponsorship offers.
This session is for founders, marketers, and nonprofit teams who want to grow sales or attract brand partners and sponsors, but aren't sure what to lead with. We'll walk through where to find these numbers, in person and online, how to read them, and how to turn them into clearer, more compelling decisions and pitches.
You'll learn:
Scrappy ways to find data when you don't have budget for big tools
How to do audience analysis without being (or hiring) a data nerd
Ways to use what you find to sell more and to frame partnership offers so sponsors see the value
About your host:
Sarah Hillifer is a lifelong data nerd who co-runs a small-but-mighty consultancy called harbour & hive, where she works on strategic planning, marketing campaigns, fundraising, sponsorships, and events. Whatever helps organizations go from “we have this great idea but don’t know where to start” to “oh, that actually makes sense.”
Her career has taken her through restaurants, real estate, analytics, software, and nonprofit fundraising, and along the way she’s learned how to turn everyday audience intel into meaningful partnerships. She has led multiple sessions at the Western Sponsorship Congress, helping non-data people use the information they already have to secure stronger, more relevant partnerships.
