Names That Outlive Platforms: Identity, Namespaces, and the Cost of Renaming

​August's layered-web session talked about portable identity as a feature. This session treats it as a property problem. We work on DP1 (Federated Authentication & Accountability) and DP5 (Decentralized Namespace) — the two DPs that decide whether "you" can mean the same person across environments, and whether a community's address survives the death of its hosting platform. In breakouts, participants design (and immediately destroy) a fictional name scheme: who owns it, who can revoke it, what happens when an authority goes away? The session names the trade-offs the AI & Human Agency pathway flags under "Must everything pass through AI?" and asks who gets to mediate the mediator.
