Oksana Malysheva
Venture Capitalist, Serial Entrepreneur, Physicist, Innovation Hacker, Idealist. Mentor in women in technology, balance, growth, and overcoming odds.
As the Managing Partner of Sputnik ATX VC, she is growing the fund with a focus on investing in maker founders outside Silicon Valley. The firm has supported more than sixty eight companies across industries ranging from fintech to fashion supply chains, with a global reach centered in Austin, Texas.
Aneil Mallavarapu
Dr. Mallavarapu is a scientist, inventor, entrepreneur and investor and holds a PhD from the University of California, San Francisco.
His scientific work spans computer science, mathematical systems biology, biochemistry, and cell biology. He is the recipient of the Council of Systems Biology Technology Award for his development of mathematical techniques and a language for modeling complex living systems. Aneil also was recognized as a key contributor to industrial genomics databases and high throughput biology techniques that have been used by some of the world’s largest biopharma firms. His work led to the creation of the Virtual Cell Program at the Harvard Medical School Department of Systems Biology.

Brett Hurt
Brett lives in Austin and is the CEO of Love Conquers Fear, his new holding company focused on his highest utility to help humanity make it to the Age of Abundance for All. His podcast, Love Conquers Fear, launched on September 24th. He was most recently the CEO and co-founder of data.world, which raised over $150 million, grew to be a global company with customers in all major verticals (from federal to financial services). data.world was acquired by ServiceNow on 7/7, which is now foundational for their enterprise AI platform.
Brett is also the co-owner of Hurt Family Investments (HFI), alongside his wife, Debra. HFI is involved in 147 startups, 47 VC funds, and multiple philanthropic endeavors. Prior, Brett co-founded and led Bazaarvoice as CEO, through its unicorn IPO, follow-on offering, and two acquisitions.
Wes Lyons
Wes Lyons is a General Partner at Eagle Venture Fund, where he leads Eagle's investment theme of combating human trafficking. Wes has previously been a co-founder in two private equity funds focused on real estate and venture capital, helping to lead over $1B in real estate and venture deals. Wes was also a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy, where he was the officer in charge of the US Navy detachment to the Philippines in 2018, assisting the Filipino military in re-taking a city from ISIS.
Jakob Diepenbrock
Jakob Diepenbrock is the founder of Discipulus Ventures, an El Segundo-based residency and fund backing the next generation of American industrialists solving critical national problems. He has backed founders building autonomous mining rigs, reshoring textile automation, and developing next-generation logistics software for the DoD. His companies have been backed by a16z, Lux Capital, 8VC, and many others.
Jakob is originally from Snohomish, WA and now lives in El Segundo, CA — the WWII capital of aerospace/defense — and is dedicated to making it the best place in the country to build hard tech again.
Chrissy Liotta
Chrissy is the Founder and serves as the Managing Director of Arsenal Partners to support early-stage aerospace & defense hardware startups through the venture capital fundraising process. The firm's primary focus is on Pre-Series-B stage companies, leveraging the team's expertise and network to help founders navigate the complexities of early-stage investment rounds and government R&D funding. Sunny Vanderbeck
Sunny Vanderbeck is an investor, entrepreneur, best-selling author, and former military leader focused on accelerating the growth of mid-market companies and creating best-in-class, built-to-last businesses.
Sunny is co-founder of Satori Capital, a multi-strategy investment firm founded on the principles of conscious capitalism. By providing real-world insights from its experienced team and long-term funding with no fixed time constraints, Satori acts as a true partner for its portfolio companies as it challenges them to pursue extraordinary outcomes for all stakeholder groups.
